What Mannu is
Mannu is a community-sourced directory of budget finds and viral finds from discount retailers. Content comes from people using the app, not from our own product testing or lab analysis, and is reviewed before it's shown to everyone else, but review is a quick accuracy and appropriateness check, not verification that a product performs identically to whatever it's compared against.
Not professional advice, and no guarantee
Nothing on Mannu is dermatological, medical, or professional advice. Formulas, ingredients, prices, and availability at any retailer can change at any time and vary by location, so always check the actual product and its ingredient list yourself, especially if you have allergies or sensitivities, before buying or using anything.
We make no guarantee that a listed comparison performs the same as the product it's compared to. Comparisons reflect community opinion, not our own testing.
Mannu is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any retailer or brand mentioned in the app.
Your submissions
If you submit a find, you're confirming it's accurate to your own knowledge and that you have the right to share it. By submitting, you give us permission to display, edit for clarity, and moderate that content within the app. We can decline to publish, or remove, any submission at our discretion, including after it's already live, if it turns out to be inaccurate, misleading, or reported as a problem.
If you upload a photo, you're confirming it's a photo you took yourself (not copied from a retailer, brand, or anyone else's website) and you're giving us permission to display it in the app. Don't upload a photo you don't have the rights to. We rely on that when we publish it. Photos should show only the product: we don't publish photos that show people, faces, or personal items (like names, addresses, or documents).
Acceptable use
Don't submit false, misleading, spam, or offensive content; don't impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with a brand or retailer; don't try to abuse, scrape, or disrupt the app.
Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.
Limitation of liability
Mannu is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including purchase decisions made based on content in it.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
